Do you have to pay your interns?

The short answer is yes and no.

Under Australian law, you must financially compensate anyone who comes to your workplace to contribute through ‘productive work’.

However, there are perfectly legal ways to bring on unpaid interns in a meaningful capacity that supports the goals of both employee and employer.

We are excited to announce that the Spring Plains Hall will host Dr Toby Ford, leading expert in the area of corporate health risk management, who will be facilitating a FREE wellness workshop this August, open to all members of our community.

Dr Toby Ford is a nationally acknowledged speaker and presenter on health, lifestyle, stress and motivation.

Participants will be given tools and develop skills to adopt on a daily basis in the workplace and home. And as an added bonus scrumptious food will be supplied by Relish Catering!
