Cannabis plants, drug paraphernalia found at Narrabri home

Police have discovered an alleged cannabis plant set-up after executing a search warrant last week.

On Friday afternoon, police officers executed a search warrant at a home on Hinds Street in Narrabri where they made the find.

Police found the cannabis set-up in the home and seized a range of items while there.

Items seized included 11 cannabis plants, cannabis, drug paraphernalia, an unauthorised restricted prescription substance and electronic components that police will allege to be used and made into a taser.

GRANTING OUR SPORTS CLUBS A KICK ALONG

Member for Barwon Roy Butler has announced that twelve Sporting Clubs will share in more than $92,000 in funding thanks to the 2019-20 Local Sport Grant Program.

Mr Butler said the funding will allow these Clubs to improve their facilities and remove some hurdles for people who are thinking about getting involved with their local club.

Competition to start Saturday 2nd of May

Registrations will be open shortly and will be due by 17/04/20. Costs listed below. 
Seniors - $135 
Juniors - $110 
NetSetGo - $110 
Non-Player - $55

Teams are restricted to a maximum of 4 representative players per team (senior and junior) with a limit of 12 players per team. Please contact the committee with any issues regarding this.
