BULKY WASTE COLLECTION

A bulky waste collection service is happening in Narrabri Town and Narrabri Village (Narrabri, Boggabri, Wee Waa and Baan Baa) during the week of Monday 19 to Friday 23 August 2019. Cleanaway will collect bulk waste on the same day as your scheduled general waste bin collection - no bookings are required.

What can you do to prepare?
✅ Do a clean-out at home and decide if you could sell or donate items instead of throwing away
✅ Ensure your items are suitable for the bulk waste collection
✅ Make 4 piles in a safe location on the kerb. Sort by type of material where possible

Nosh On Night Concert Narrabri Saturday Lot of Local Talent

And, in seriously exciting news, tickets will go on sale 31 July for the 'Nosh On' Night concert! 

In the spirit of supporting local, the 2019 ‘Nosh On’ Night concert will be a celebration of Narrabri’s amazing local talent, featuring a host of Narrabri-based musicians. 

Local bands West & Public and the Three Legged Pig Dogs will headline, supported by local performers Sarah Leete, Layton Smith and Lauren Brown.

Boggabr Spring Fair and Food Festicval

The Spring Fair and Food Festival is an annual event held in the CBD of Boggabri.  Fun for all the family with a water slide, fashion parade, train rides, putt putt golf and craft. There will also be flower, photo and colouring-in competitions, and a kids corner. 
NSW Fire and Rescue and the SES do a demonstration and a fashion parade featuring Hassab’s Fashions spring stock is held during the morning.  The Art Shed holds an exhibition in its premises and there is always plenty of stalls with goodies, including jewellery, baby clothes, Scentsy, reclaimed metal art work, cakes, patchwork, relish and chutneys, Men’s Shed items, homemade items, craft, plants and ornaments.  
Food stalls offer hot dogs, popcorn, snow cones, donuts, fairy floss, stuffed spuds and Nelson’s honey, and a gourmet barbecue.
